Child Safety

St Joseph’s College has a moral and legal responsibility to create a nurturing school environment where children and young people are respected, their voices are heard and they are safe and feel safe. Infrastructure

We are called to be stewards of creation, caring for the gifts God has given us, including the environment, our own personal talents and resources. St Joseph’s College is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of members of our community to ensure that the school is an optimal environment for learning. The proper maintenance of the buildings, facilities and grounds is essential to the creation and maintenance of a safe and inclusive learning environment, and gives the school community confidence in the reliability of systems should an emergency arise.

Anti-Bullying Policy

This policy identifies the interconnectedness of the characteristics of quality Catholic learning and teaching. It is intended to value, respect and promote the self-esteem and dignity of every member of the St Joseph’s Community. The College will actively promote anti-bullying messages, alerting students and staff of the need to be vigilant.
