St Joseph’s College is committed to Child Safety.
At St Joseph’s College, we hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as a central and fundamental responsibility of our school. Our commitment is drawn from, and inherent in, the teaching and mission of Jesus Christ, with love, justice and the sanctity of each human person at the heart of the gospel.
Our Salesian heritage also calls us to care for the young, walking alongside them. The Charter for Salesian Schools in Australia challenges Salesian schools like St Joseph’s College to be: “a home that welcomes, a parish that evangelises, a school that prepares for life and a playground where friends meet and enjoy themselves.”
